The Challenges

In a sector still in the early stages of digital transformation, Baglini Ascensori, an Italian leader in elevator solutions, faced several
critical challenges.

Post-installation service management lacked visibility into system performance. Meanwhile, Italy’s elevator fleet—the largest in Europe—is both highly diverse and aging, with more than 40% of systems over 30 years old.

The Solution

To meet the demands of a sector where system reliability is non-negotiable, Baglini Ascensori partnered with Zerynth to co-develop UPControl—a custom IoT solution designed specifically for elevator monitoring.
