Zerynth Edge AI Layer

Zerynth technology enables fast connectivity for any industrial asset, turning it into a valuable source of data.

How does it work?

The Zerynth Industrial IoT & AI Platform enables seamless and non-intrusive connectivity to any asset through its Edge AI Layer. Both legacy and modern machinery can be connected using Zerynth Edge Devices or Agents, installed directly on the machine or within the company’s IT/OT infrastructure.

  • Real-time data collection from machinery, sensors, and other industrial devices.

  • Data processing locally or on Zerynth Cloud.

  • Compatible with both production and auxiliary machinery (brownfield and greenfield), as well as electrical panels.

How does the connection work?

1

Based on the type of machinery and the client’s IT infrastructure, the most suitable device from the ZeroBox family is selected to meet the data collection requirements.

2

The interfacing with machines and devices occurs through wired channels (Ethernet, RS-485) or wireless (Wi-Fi), using standard industrial protocols. Data exchange with the cloud happens via Internet (Ethernet, Wi-Fi) or cellular network (with an accessory 4G/LTE modem).

3

The collected data is processed directly on the device using advanced AI algorithms and then sent to the Zerynth Platform Core, where it is displayed and monitored in real-time on the portal.

Components

The Edge Layer consists of various types of modular and fully configurable Edge Devices, designed to meet different operational needs and provide maximum application flexibility.

Edge Layer FAQ

The ZeroAgent is Zerynth’s powerful on-the-edge AI microservice, which, installed on a Zerynth-owned hardware device from the ZeroBox family or on any off-the-shelf Linux-based device, allows for non-intrusive data acquisition and reading from any industrial machinery.

It is flexible, configured and programmed using a no-code block configurator. It not only handles basic raw data but also has the computational power to perform complex data processing on the edge.

The ZeroAgent is fully integrated with the Zerynth cloud platform, providing all the tools necessary for intelligent remote management, including the ability to perform parameter configurations and firmware updates via FOTA.

Zerynth’s No-Code Configurator simplifies the configuration of graphs in the ZeroAgent without the need for programming. You can configure the ZeroAgent through a visual interface, defining blocks, adding variables, and specifying processing steps. No programming required.

Yes, absolutely! You can create dashboards using the Dashboarding Engine, thanks to the integration of Grafana within the Zerynth platform. All raw data collected from Edge Devices or KPIs calculated by Zerynth’s IoT Apps can be easily used to create custom dashboards, accessible through the main interface of the Zerynth platform in the “Custom Dashboards” section. You can then share them with other users and accounts.
