Integrations through Weebhooks and REST API
Integrations through Weebhooks and REST API
Zerynth’s REST APIs offer access to data, devices, work services and FOTA, and all other entities of the Zerynth Platform. REST APIs can be called by any modern application and represent the standard means of communication between HTTP native services. All Zerynth APIs are secured by HTTPS and API keys.
When the solution implemented with the Zerynth Platform requires real-time data and aims to avoid polling API endpoints, Zerynth offers an alternative mechanism to interact with data: Webhooks.
With Webhooks, it’s the Zerynth Platform that sends data to a configured endpoint whenever specific events occur or data becomes available. Zerynth Platform takes care of data buffering and retries if the endpoint is overloaded or momentarily unavailable.
Supported OT/IT Protocols
Supported OT/IT Protocols
Zerynth provides a set of device drivers that streamline the interfacing with shopfloor equipment (standard or custom protocols). This simplifies data exchange configuration through the use of the Zerynth No-code Configurator.
Standard OT protocols compatible
Zerynth Edge Layer supports the following protocols: Siemens S7, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, Omron FINS, Ethernet IP, MT-Connect, Fanuc-focas, Heidenhain (with OPTION 18 active), Euromap 63, and RS 232/485. Additionally, many other minor OT protocols are either supported or can be easily added to the platform upon request.
IT protocols supported
Zerynth also provides support for FTP, HTTP API, file exchange on shared network folders, table exchange on the edge database, MQTT, and various other IT protocols. These options enable seamless interfacing of the Zerynth Core Platform with existing IT services.
