Interconnection of machinery and Industry 4.0

Therefore, they were looking for a solution to interconnect their machinery with the Odoo management software already used and implemented in the company.

In addition, simplifying the tracking of orders and invoices was one of the company’s main requirements, as they needed a smoother exchange of information between the machinery and the warehouse.

The Zerynth Industrial IoT & AI Platform was implemented on Erlacher’s modern machinery to interconnect them with the existing Odoo management software.

An Edge Device has been connected to each machine. By using a current clamp, data is gathered and analyzed on how a machine operates throughout its processing stages.
The data entry process is, in this way, automated: through the Internet connection, the information is sent to the Zerynth Platform, which with asynchronous calls and APIs, communicates, in turn, with the Odoo management software. A collector also guarantees bi-directionality and allows commands to be written from the management software to the machine.
